I am an impressionist oil painter who paints scenes of the comtemporary west. Living in the mountains of Washington State, I paint figures, landscapes, animals, still lifes and portraits. The underpinnings of my work are academic but the emphasis is on color.
I began at Berkeley in Abstract Expressionism and ended up a realist/impressionist painter interested in capturing what I see...the drama, color, life of the beautiful area in which I live, the Methow Valley of eastern Washington. I am registered in the National Gallery for Women in the Arts in Washington D.C.
